Решил купить себе парочку дисков японской группы Onmyo-Za (Onmyouza), но найти нигде не получилось. В Легионе даже по спец. заказу нет =(
Прошу помощи!
Также готов поменять оригинальный CD "Surrender of Divivity - Manifest Blasphemy: The Abortion of the Immaculate Conception" (лейбл From Beyond Recs., диск покупал в "Pantip Plaza" в Бангкоке, стоит примерно 400 руб.) на что-нибудь равноценное.
Рецензия на английском под катом.
After the first listen I got the impression that this is some really horrible shitty garage metal.
The drumming sounded awfully shabby and all the great riffs from Oriental Hell Rythmics had vanished.
BUT!
After some listens the music got better and better, the drumming sounds a bit uneven because the drums is higher in the mix and contains no traces of horrible triggs or "cheats".
Riffs are more atmospheric, but nevertheless it could have been more riffs.
The band now has Avaejee on bass and vox, and he does a great job with even more savage and raw vocals than former shrieker Ekaluxx had.
They have a new drummer, Xulaynus add a new level of brutality to SOD`s music, allright, the drumming is a bit shabby at times but he makes up with interesting drumpatterns and skill.
The guitars have been reduced to more lead based riffing, with some breakdown sections with sometimes slower and atmospheric shredding.
It still has great riffing but they are lower in the mix so can be a bit buried but a trained ear will notice and appreciate the handfull of riffs that are presented.
But it still has the standard chainsaw riffs that grind on with unrelenting coldness.
Speaking of coldness, some warmth have been lost on this record in favour of a more scandinavian sound and note, thats not a bad thing but I prefered the varmth of OHR.
Lyrics are long and interesting to read, a bit hard to keep up with the vox if you both read and listen to the vox.
Quite long and well written lyrics, it has the oldschool qualities of the 90s bad grammar (hehe).
And on the 66 side of the tape you have a trilogy written like ancient prophecies Asian about the coming of the satanic Apocalypse.
Standout tracks: I have no favourite, its not like all the songs sound the same but its like Taake, hard to find definite favourite tracks as you tend to enjoy everything.
